Consensus Pathology Recommendations for Complex Malignant Hematology – December 2016

Guideline Objective

To provide direction for the standardization of laboratory services for diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, high-grade lymphoma and aplastic anemia. These recommendations provide guidance for the classification, diagnosis, work-up, turn-around-time and minimal residual disease testing for leukemia patients.
