Neutropenia (Low Neutrophil Count)

This side effect sheet is for people who have neutropenia (low levels of a type of white blood cell called neutrophils) as a side effect of cancer drugs (chemotherapy). It can be used by patients, family members, friends or caregivers. The side effect sheet does not replace advice from your healthcare team. Review it with them to get the most benefit from it.
